Champion Solar Car debuts at the Middle East World Future Energy Summit 2012

Tokai Challenger Challenger, winner of the 2009 and 2011 World Solar Challenge, the world's premier race for solar powered cars, is set to make its Middle East debut at the World Future Energy Summit held between 16 and 19 January at ADNEC, Hall 9. The car was designed and tested by students from University in collaboration with leading Japanese automotive companies and is claimed to top 160 km/h. In the 2011 episode of the World Solar Challenge, the Challenger covered 2998 km in 29 hours 49 minutes at an average speed of 100.54 km/h. The car also won the 2010 South African Solar Challenge.Tokai Challenger
