Rumour – 2012 BMW S1000RR Superbike Launched In India ?
It was October 2011, when we brought you the news about the 2012 BMW S1000RR. If the latest rumour is to be believed, BMW has officially yet quietly launched the 2012 BMW S1000RR in India. If you were waiting and planning to buy this brilliant superbike, I believe its already too late now. As per BMW, the same has already booked the first lot of the motorcycle of which the one and the first ever red and white model belonging to Samir Thapar, Managing Director, JCT Ltd.
It may sound surprising enough but it could be true as BMW had recently showcased the 2011 S1000RR at the 2012 Auto Expo and the launch of the next gen model was expected shortly. S1000RR has revolutionized the sports bike segment by conquering 24 percent of the market last year and is hoped to do even better this year.

New Updates On 2012 S1000RR Include
- First up is the new suspension that sports modifications both at front and rear suspenders imparting better handling characteristics and head angle
- Reconfigured throttle for enhanced response in different riding modes
- New Colour Schemes
- Redesigned LCD engine speed display

Since there is no official word coming from the German major, we expect the bike to bear the same price tag as of the 2011 model.
