South Africa: Peugeot SA going big in 2012

Independent Online – To coincide with its tenth anniversary as a fully fledged subsidiary of its French parent company, Peugeot South Africa is offering a five-year full maintenance plan as standard on all of its passenger cars and has announced three new products for our market in 2012.

Effectively, the warranty and maintenance plan are valid for five-years or 100 000km, the latter covering all services, maintenance and parts, excepting fuel, top-up oil and tyres.

Peugeot's commercial vehicles, however, continue with the previous three-year warranty and the five-year/100 000km service plan in the case of the Partner and Expert and five-year/120 000km maintenance plan for the Boxer.

Peugeot says the full maintenance plan will allow buyers to plan their motoring budget accurately, with no additional expenses, hidden costs of service price increases to contend with during the plan period.

However, Peugeot SA is not just resting on this or the laurels of its current range to fuel sales growth – it's also bringing three new products to South Africa this year.

First off the ship will be the facelifted Peugeot 107 in the new few weeks, but the more exciting prospects are the 208 hatchback and 4008 crossover SUV, the former due in September and the latter scheduled for sometime on the second half of the year.
