Dressing a celebrity for an awards show is a little more complicated than buying a designer dress, shoes, and bag, and keeping your fingers crossed that the bloggers woke up on the right side of bed. In fact, the whole business of getting, say, Charlize Theron into her couture Dior gown, Cartier jewels, and Givenchy shoes cost quite a bit of wheeling, dealing, and — oh yes — $8,079,905 to put together.
