Victoria Secret Launches High-End Lingerie Collection

If you’ve ever caught the Victoria’s Secret runway show only to find yourself disappointed when you couldn’t actually procure a bedazzled pair of butterfly wings or a panty sporting a full train in the actual store, this one’s for you: Victoria’s Secret is soon launching a high-end line dubbed The Victoria’s Secret Designer Collection.

Though not as elaborate as its runway creations, the line will feature European lace, chiffons, and intricate embroideries on bras, baby dolls, underwear ($38), kimonos, and even corsets ($298). The line went on sale yesterday on VictoriaSecret.com, and has already sold out there and at its physical launch sites including the NYC stores at Lexington Avenue and Herald Square. But all is not lost. The collection will return to 13 stores nationwide, this June. (WWD)
