PHOTOS: Flattering?

We've been keeping our eye on Jessica Simpson's maternity wear ever
since the singer announced her pregnancy. [1]

Girlfriend seems to be a fan of monochromatic dresses with no defined
waist, empire or otherwise: she's recently opted for sea green [2]
and before that, red [3] and tan. [4]

And in accordance, Jess attended the NBC Universal 2012 Winter TCA
Tour All-Star Party last night in Pasadena (to promote her new show,
"Fashion Star" [5]) in this glittering black strapless number and
spiky black Louboutins.

The dress itself might not have been built for a baby bump at all! "I
haven't really gone to maternity clothes because I don't really love
maternity stuff," Jessica told the Los Angeles Times at the event. [6]

We think Jess is one super adorable pregnant lady, but we'd also love
to see her change it up a bit. Wouldn't she look cute in an
empire-waisted belt?
