Three years ago, director James Cameron's wife,
Suzy Amis Cameron launched the Red Carpet Green Dress Contest, giving
budding eco-conscious designers the opportunity to see their designs
on the Oscars red carpet.
Once again the contest is asking for designers to submit their dress
made entirely out of sustainable fabrics, which can be worn on the red
carpet at the 84th Academy Awards, February 26th 2012 by a surprise
Hollywood actress.
The winner will receive industry support and guidance from an
established fashion designer to make the red carpet dress; as well as
being supplied with the sustainable fabrics required to make their
design in accordance with their submission and under the guidance of
Red Carpet Green Dress and our partners.
Additionally, the contest covers all flights to Los Angeles,
accommodation, a VIP tour of Muse School California, as well as
meeting the female celebrity who will be wearing the winning dress
design.
To enter, visit Redcarpetgreendress.com and submit your designs before
January 16, 2012.
