Scoop announces dates and new labels for 2012

A new Post "Scoop announces dates and new labels for 2012" was written on the January 1, 2012 at 3:53 pm on "Textile Global - Textile and Fashion News".

London-based fashion tradeshow, Scoop International, is set to return
in February for its third edition and has announced new labels, some
of which have previously not shown at a UK trade event. The show will
host autumn/winter 2012

collections from more than 150 brands including emerging and
established directional labels, and will once again be held at the
Saatchi Gallery from February 12-14. The contemporary and premium
womenswear, accessories, footwear and lifestyle tradeshow will feature
new signings including Gat Rimon, Sita Murt, Nocturne, Bastyan,
Twin-Set, Ali Ro, Spijkers en Spijkers, Libelula, Lavenham, Sita Murt,
Marion Foale and Gloverall. Accessories and shoe collections include
Vivienne Westwood, The Jacksons, Givenchy, Kenzo, Pucci, Les Neriedes,
Orla Kiely, Candice Cooper and Coccinelle, alongside niche art
perfumery collections from Blood Concept, Nez a'Nez, Six Scents,
Carthusia and Andre Putnam.

Returning International labels include Scandinavian label Filippa K,
Belgian brand Sandrina Fasoli and Japanese label As Know As; as well
as British brands such as Handwritten, Bella Freud, Gloverall,
Lavenham, and Liberty Freedom.

The organisers of Scoop International have also announced the dates
for the summer 2012 show, which will take place from July 8-10. This
early date brings Scoop in line with other key shows on the
International calendar, which next summer starts in Paris with Who's
Next/Pret a Porter at the end of June, as well as sitting outside the
disruption set to be caused by the 2012 London Olympics.

"The last few years have seen a clear move towards earlier showing
dates across the fashion industry," says Scoop founder and Managing
Director Karen Radley. "With the Olympics set to cause disruption in
London throughout August we felt very strongly that Scoop needed an
earlier dateline for 2012. The reaction from our current exhibitors
has been overwhelmingly positive, with buyers also welcoming the
prospect of being able to view new collections in London at the start
of the buying season."
