African label Suno, designed by fashion duo Max Osterweis and Erin
Beatty, has launched a capsule line of canvas sneakers featuring their
colourful prints to raise money for a wildlife charity. The classic
slip-ons and lace-ups, which boast colourful names such as
'Clustered Caviar', 'Little People Print' and 'Bandana
Flower' have been made in Kenya using excess fabric from past
productions, and include recycled rubber soles.
The canvas sneakers cost $65 and a portion of all the shoe sales will
go to the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust in Kenya, which fosters
orphaned baby animals like elephants and rhinos.
