I wear a lot of hats. I teach biology, anatomy and physiology, and
environmental science classes at Sterling High School (SHS) in
Sterling, Kansas. I’m a Chevy Volt [1] driver. And as of this
week, I’m the project director for a new adventure in learning:
the SHS Chevy Volt Project.
The Volt educational project was sparked by a "What If" comment during
discussion of an assignment in one of my Environmental Science classes
last winter. It’s been an interesting year of exploring the
possibilities as we have taken an initial idea—and worked to
pull all of the pieces together the make the SHS Chevy Volt Project a
reality.
