Claire Danes [2] may have just won a Best Actress Golden Globe for her
role on Homeland, but we'll always remember her as Angela Chase, the
angsty teen she played so perfectly on My So-Called Life. And here she
is in 1995 after accepting the Golden Globe for the very same
category.
Last night she referenced her first acceptance speech, in which she
was so stunned that she forgot to thank her parents; and as you can
see in this clip [3], she said "um" about eight times.
While 15-year old Claire's acceptance speech may not have been as
poised as 32-year-old Claire's, she still looked great in a
quintessentially '90s simple black strappy number. We'll always
have a soft spot for '90s redhead Claire, but we also think she
looked great in that J. Mendel gown last night [4]. Which look do you
prefer?
